
Tim Voegeli began his teaching and legendary coaching career in the Kettering Schools in 1974 at Fairmont East High School. He coached boys’ soccer at East, first as an assistant, then as head coach through the 1982 season. He also served as the boys’ head tennis coach during the 1982 and 1983 seasons. Following the consolidation, Tim coached both the boys’ and girls’ tennis teams at Kettering Fairmont, retiring from coaching in 2018 after 44 years of coaching in Kettering.
During his tennis coaching tenure, he coached over 20 District and State qualifiers, District champions, and State runners-up. He was tournament manager for the Southwest District boys’ and girls’ tennis tournaments and was also OHSAA State rules interpreter for tennis, doing both jobs for over 30 years.

As a result of his outstanding teaching career, induction into the Kettering Schools’ Chester A. Roush Educational Hall of Fame
