After spending 5 lazy years of work, fun and school, i received a draft notice forcing me to enlist. I chose the Air Force. Since I had completed my last degree requirements in summer school, my actual degree was not awarded until the following spring. After basic training, I spent 8 or 9 month as an intercept analyst, before my application to officer training was accepted. Next pilot training and 5 years as a T-38 instructor in West Texas. I separated to take a job in Dallas with IBM in their office products division. There I met the lady of my life, Janet, and have enjoyed 46 years of marriage. I still fly as a hobby but my day job is developing industrial parks and buildings, hotels and other real estate; as long as the neurons continue to spark.
