After graduating from Fairmont and Ohio State in the 90s, I lived out west for many years (Oregon/Colorado). While in Oregon I earned a Masters degree in elementary education and soon after began a teaching career that spanned nearly 10 years. About 7 years ago I switched careers which ultmately led to me owning KJR Contracting. KJR handles facility upkeep and upgrade projects for commercial properties across the midwest and south. On a personal level, my chief passion is music.. playing, writing, singing. And I am going to be recording my 3rd album of original material later this year. As a graduate of Fairmont Ive always been grateful to the friends and community (some of my very best friends to this day go back to those ol high school days). Finally, now that I am back in the Dayton area I hope to become more involved with the community, schools, students, and staff in whatever capacity I can as the newest member of the Kettering City Schools Forward Foundation.
