Graduated early at Fairmont East in January, 1976, went into the U.S. Navy for 4 years as an Air Traffic Controller on a helicopter carrier in the Atlantic out of Norfolk, Virginia, then was hired by the FAA in March, 1982, worked at Minneapolis International airport control tower for 7 months, then Decatur, Illinois, for 3.5 years, then Jeffco airport control tower near Broomfield, Colorado, for 1.5 years, then Eugene, Oregon, control tower for about 7 months, then back to Jeffco control tower in Colorado for another 1.5 years, then Felts Field FAA control tower in Spokane, Washington, for ten years, then the Boeing Field FAA control tower in Seattle for 3.5 years. Have 960 hours of flight time and almost all possible pilot licenses and ratings. Designed a two-seat fighter-style jet, the design of which came close to being used in the James Bond movie, "Die Another Day" in 2001-2002.
