We’re excited to have a proud Falcon-turned-Firebird, Dana (Birtle) Jahn, as this week’s Faculty Friday alumni spotlight! Dana graduated from Fairmont East in 1977 and has been a member of the JFK staff for over 30 years. She's played an important role in bringing up decades of Kettering kids in her positions as a lunchroom and playground aide, special education para and school secretary. After attending Prass Elementary and JFK Junior High, Dana’s favorite Fairmont East memories are playing field hockey, football games (especially the competition with Fairmont West) and going to school dances. “I have always lived in Kettering and have always loved the Kettering City Schools! My three children graduated from Fairmont as well,” said Dana.
