What inspired your family members to choose Kettering across generations? (i.e. traditions, a particular experience, or a shared value):
My dad moved her to coach and teach. When I moved away with my husband due to the military I always knew when we had kids we would move back here to Kettering Schools.

How have your experiences as a Kettering student, parent, or grandparent influenced the personal or professional journeys of you and your family members?
My father's example of coaching has led to me coaching in the district for 25 years, my sn now coaches, and my son in law coaches. Our family is a family of educators.

In what ways has attending the same schools in Kettering created a stronger bond within your family?
We have so many common memories. We have been involved in the same activities. We also love staying involved with the schools and going to events together.

Any special memories or reflections that highlight the significance of this shared experience?
It has created such a community connection. It has led to other community volunteer opportunities. We have 4 generations of FIrebirds! So things we did were the same in our journey but we all have different experiences based on our interests as well.
