Inspired to become a teacher by the many amazing teachers she had at Fairmont, Jenny (Lane) Richardson is this week’s Faculty Friday alumni spotlight. A 2001 graduate, Jenny has taught social studies at Fairmont for 17 years –  from the classroom that many alumni will remember as belonging to the great Bob Karl. She is also the senior class council adviser and an RTI coordinator. When she’s not busy supporting the Firebirds, Jenny enjoys traveling with her family. Like so many Fairmont alums who choose to work in Kettering Schools, Jenny loves getting to work with and become friends with some of her former teachers. “Kettering will always be home for us. We love that this community feels close knit in spite of its size and are so happy to raise our family here.
