A Forever Firebird, this week’s Faculty Friday alumni spotlight is Indian Riffle 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Angela (Hambrick) Bane. A 1990 graduate, Angela’s connection to Riffle goes back to when her grandma was the cafeteria manager! Her parents graduated from Fairmont West, she attended Indian Riffle in the first year it was an elementary school, and she is the proud mom of two Fairmont grads and a current Fairmont freshman. As a student, Angela loved tennis, orchestra, musicals, and football games. Her claim to fame is winning the Father Daughter Dance contest – we hope someone has a photo of that to share in the comments! Angela says that working in Kettering Schools is special because, “I love being able to relate to the kids about being a Firebird. I love to tell them my memories, and I truly am proud to say I am a Forever Firebird.” #EverFaithful #Firebirds #legacy #community #alumni #spotlight #FacultyFriday
